TRAIN THE TRAINER: BULLY NO MORE PREVENTION & AWARENESS
(SRO EDITION)

Preparing Trainers to Lead Bullying Prevention
Equipping law enforcement and school partners to lead age-appropriate lessons, engage students, and build confidence in bullying prevention.
A prevention lesson works best when students feel comfortable asking questions and know what they can do when they see someone being hurt. Train the Trainer: Bullying Prevention and Awareness helps law enforcement personnel and school partners develop the skills to lead those conversations.
Participants examine the difference between instructing, teaching, training, and facilitating. They practice communicating clearly, engaging a group, building presentation confidence, and guiding discussion without losing sight of the students’ needs.
The program introduces age-appropriate Bully No More presentations for grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12. These lessons address verbal, social, physical, and online bullying; the roles of those involved and those who witness it; and ways students can recognize, respond to, and report concerning behavior. Scenarios give future trainers a chance to consider how they would handle questions and encourage participation.
Developed by 1st Source Defense, LLC, the course is designed to help organizations bring thoughtful bullying prevention education into their schools and communities.
